About Me
Story-Driven Connection.
What began as a childhood love for reading anything I could get my hands on has grown into a lifelong passion for experiencing and telling powerful stories across genres and media. I believe that a good story is one of the most powerful tools we have to inspire ourselves and others and to enact positive change in the world around us.
After earning a BA in English Writing, I spent four years teaching English (spoken and written) in Hubei Province, China. I learned firsthand the importance of efficient, effective communication. Though I no longer teach, I still make it my business to empower others to express their thoughts accurately and authentically.
As a freelance writer and editor, I help brands craft written content that resonates and compels their audience to take action. From blog posts to white papers, e-books to email newsletters, my successful projects have been as diverse as the brands I’ve worked with.
On the side, I also write fiction, occasional poetry, and even a bit of entertainment commentary. I’m always looking for good stories — no matter the medium — to produce and consume.
